Railway Signal System

Overview

The CBI is a railway signal system that operates everything electronically and computer-based to provide interlocking functions for train control. It is an independent system designed to operate in all train operations and stations of various sizes. The hardware is composed of modules, so operation and maintenance are convenient as a whole, and the corresponding software is composed independently as a separate subsystem, which is composed of a reliable and stable system as a whole.

SIL4 CBI

Characteristic

  • Ethernet-based communication using the safety control system and L3 switch through the SIOS-IF module installed in the safety control system name CXP
  • Using a system with enhanced Fail-Safe function based on the hardware of the redundant fault-tolerant structure to meet the SIL4 requirements of the international
    standard and improve reliability
  • Easy change of interlocking logic and extension maintenance
  • Automatic transfer based (Hot-standby)

System configuration

Korean standard CBI

characteristic

  • Maximizing system stability by designing more stable operating characteristics of the dual system
  • Designing and manufacturing by fail-safe operation
  • Easy change of interlocking logic and extension maintenance
  • Use of Vmebus communication method and RS 422 communication and Ethernet communication support
  • Automatic transfer based (Hot-standby)

System Configuration

Relayless

Characteristic

  • Use of a module capable of controlling and displaying various external facilities minimizing the use of relays
  • A module using a non-contact element or on-board type micro relay (SSR) whose reliability and safety have been proven
  • Faster response speed than mechanical relays and minimized noise generation
  • Easy change of interlocking logic and extension maintenance
  • Automatic transfer based (Hot-standby)
